My doughs, sauces and fillings are made from scratch, at times with herbs I grow in the garden. 

I'm a fan of simple ingredients with simple rules: 

- Can I pronounce it? 

- Would the average person know what it is and what it does? 

If the answer's no, then I don't use it. 

I'm also old-fashioned in terms of cook-ware and favor aluminum, flour, meal and oil instead of silicone papers, propellants, or non-stick items.
